Sorry everyone too busy playing with kids and digging holes to write a
good message. If I don't come home send chocolate, clean towels and hot
water. Since Nova lost my motivation for coming back is dying and the
food here is getting pretty good. Thanks for all the messages and I'll
let you all know when I get back,
Love, Bryan |

Today we were finished centering all the rebar cages in the leveled holes,
which took some time. Pretty much everyone worked on their sunburns
during the day. The boys still had a full day, but they came to visit us
after classes and worked on their dance moves. Tonight, we played the
older Honduran boys and teachers and finally USA is numero uno even
though they are amazing at futbol. Tomorrow is the last day and I cannot
believe the week is almost over. <3 Nicole P.S. Cristian es mi novio y
es muy guapo. Be jealous. |

Today was a productive day. We finished filling all the holes with
rebar and tomorrow we are ready to pour. We played soccer tonight
and we beat the Hondurans. I finally got some color so be jealous.
The last day is tomorrow and I am really sad. This trip has been
amazing and an awesome experience. I can't wait to see everyone
and tell you all about it. I love you and miss you.....Lea |

Hey everyone - I can't believe it is Thursday already. This week has
gone by so fast. I don't think that if I were to tell you everything
detail for detail, it wouldnt compare to this beautiful experience.
We are getting everything finished up. I heard that it snowed the
other day, so please stay warm. Can't wait to see you all when I
get back.

All of the holes are completed with rebar in them and ready for
concrete...it wasn't the easiest process, but we got it done. I
can't believe the week is almost over. Can't wait to talk to
everyone and tell them about this amazing trip. Love, Annie |

Well, lets see.... the holes are finally complete after a meticulous
inspection, and the steel rebar have been constructed for each hole, so
yes finally it is time to pour the concrete tomorrow. today was an
awesome day, we got alot of work done and had an intense soccer game
against the older kids and adults. we ended up winning by surprise, i
think the final score was something like 7-5. i cant believe there is
only 1 full day remaining, very sad. Hope all is well at home, im really
anticipating coming back in a few weeks for easter! and thank you
grandparents for following our progress and praying for me. I love you
all! Kaitlyn- I hope that school/fencing has been going well this
week, i'll look forward to hearing how you did at your tournament in
boston. ill be sure to call you sunday so we can catch up! |

Hey guys! Thanks so much for the messages, especially you Blake (first
time message poster), they really mean a lot and it is so good to hear
from the people that I care about the most. We had another solid
day today. We got everything set up in the foundations to pour
concrete in the morning. To do that we had to fill the holes with
four inches of sand. Wheelbarrow runs of sand are not so fun after
about 20 of them! Mom, I am so sorry to hear about Nancy. Tell
Carrie that I am praying for her and her mom. Dad, how is work going?
Oh and tell Granny that I said hello and I lover her very much. Blake, I
hope you had a great time at the concert. Did you go with Billy?
Steph, thanks for the tabloid update...haha. Keep trucking along this
week. It's almost over! I will be looking forward to talking with
you when I get back. Love you and miss you! Viva Honduras!

Aahhh! So much love from everyone! Denky thanks so much for the post!! You
and Marn will have a blast even without me I'm sure. Just remember what
Mary and Trish say...you two together spells trouble. Mom, sorry again
for the nasty-gram, and Dad your weather updates are really allowing us
all to soak up the sun here. I actually got a little color today! sweet
farmers tan, and also I am covered in bruises and I'm not sure where
they came from. I like it though. We finished the framework and steel
reinforcements today and everything is ready for pouring. We'll be
mixing the concrete by hand and we hope to be done before lunch so that
we can have some quality hang time before we leave. We watched the sun
set over the mountains today, which is also the Guatemalan boarder, from
on top of the hill. And tonight the sky was so clear and there were so,
so many stars. Although everything here is so amazing I am really
missing all of you and can't wait to get a good hug from everyone! I'll
bring some back from the kids too, they give really great ones.
Loooovvvvve, Kate
P.S. we played MASH tonight and my future holds a marriage to Carlos
with 25 kids, homeless in El Paso with a horse and a smart car. Oh and
Carlos' career is a meter maid. So be excited to come over for dinner. |

Hey! We thought we'd be able to mix and pour the concrete today, but
with a few setbacks, it didn't happen. We have all of the rebar
and everything in place, so the concrete will be poured tomorrow to
finish our construction. Mom, I promise I have been doing work
regardless of the pictures you have seen and Dad, I've been trying to
speak Spanish as much as possible, but I am still pretty rusty.
The kids are patient and pretty easy to converse with so it makes it all
much easier. This week is just flying by. I can't wait to come
home and tell both of you more about everything in person! |

if there is anyone out there that cares about me...this place and
experience has been and will continue to be unexplainably surreal. i
hope the United States is that sweet. matthew |

Parents - You should all be extremely proud of your children. They
have placed their hearts and souls into working, playing, and reflecting
on this experience. To a person they all attribute their successes
to their families. Thank you from Villanova for giving us the
opportunity to teach them.
Still haven't made been able to teach here yet, maybe tomorrow. I did manage to score in futbol
AGAIN! It was a little different crew than I see on my Thursday night
hoops game. I also got to ride a bike into town (1st time since high
school). Matt, sorry to hear you had to go to school while Abby got to
stay home, but it will all even out. She'll probably got extra
homework to do over the weekend. Abby, it was in the 80's today! Ice
cream ... I wasn't sure if an OREO ice cream sandwich was ice cream.
I'll check, maybe they don't have lent here?!?! Dennis, no snoopin' and
keep your father out of trouble. Matt and I will see next weekend
unless you're getting too much snow. We can watch Villanova's NCAA
game together. Godma, wish Jill luck on her Habitat trip for me.

I'm sleeping. (At least I was on Thursday night. It is now Friday
morning.) I got to go into town with Jeff, DD, and Carlos today to
update the web site...but this time we had to take bicycles.
Another great new experience. I sat out the soccer game (the team
didn't need the 13th best player this time) but I'm happy to say I
"coached" the team to a victory. Thanks to all who have written
messages. They mean a lot to me and to the group. Please
keep Amigos in your hearts and prayers. Jen and my buddy
Nicholas....see you very soon! Love you both! |

I got to make tortillas today! I also got to meet a lot more boys
and girls. I watched them have gym class. Kurochis, thanks for
praying for us, I can smell the pot roast now. We charge $.25 per
smiley face Gracie, so I hope you've saved your money. |
